Kevin Taylor

Born in South Carolina, Kevin relocated to Georgia at the age of three, where his lifelong journey with music began. At just 12 years old, he picked up a guitar for the first time and quickly developed an ear for playing anything he heard. His passion for music deepened when a friend introduced him to the debut album of southern rock legends Molly Hatchet. From that moment on, he was hooked—the band's powerful sound left a lasting impression, and they quickly became his all-time favorite.

Over the years, Kevin has had the opportunity to collaborate and record with a number of renowned musicians. His resume includes working with Paul Goddard, Dean Daughtry, and Steve Stone of the Atlanta Rhythm Section, Todd Smalley of the Derek Trucks Band, and Bob Burns, the original drummer of Lynyrd Skynyrd.

In 2004, Kevin achieved a personal milestone when he joined the ranks of Molly Hatchet for a brief period, stepping in until founding member Dave Hlubek returned to the group. His time with the band was a full-circle moment in a career shaped by the very music that first inspired him.
