John, a self-taught guitarist, credits his early exposure to live music to his three older cousins, who were members of The Rondels, a band that performed Elvis Presley and country music, sparking his fascination at a young age. Growing up in the 1970s, he immersed himself in a diverse range of classic rock bands, drawing inspiration from notable guitarists such as Ace Frehley, Gary Richrath, Brad Whitford, and Brian May.
